Madame Judith François Valentin, l’une des grandes Infirmières  étoiles de la communauté Crucienne.

Dans notre travail de motivation, de conscientisation et de renforcement de la chaine de solidarité dans la communauté crucienne, au groupe Pitit Manman Wozè nous avons déjà rencontré plusieurs infirmières originaires de la Croix-des-Bouquets des États-Unis, du Canada et d’Haïti et le Directeur Médical du Centre de Santé de la Croix-des-Bouquets, Dr Flaubert Aurélus. À cause du climat d’insécurité qui ravage notre pays, le Centre de Santé de la Croix-des-Bouquets est le seul centre médical qui fournit des soins de santé à la population crucienne avec un personnel très réduit et un service très limité.

Les infirmières de la Communauté Crucienne qui étaient présentes à cette rencontre sont très conscientes de cette situation et ont compris l’importance de travailler ensemble pour aider le centre médical de la Croix-des-Bouquets à répondre efficacement aux défis de l’heure. Dans ce monde de la technologie et de la communication le problème de la Croix-des-Bouquets doit être abordé globalement afin d’éviter, autant que possible, de parler de famille politique et de quartier qui nous divise trop. Bien Sûr vous savez autant que moi que la fourchette de la division ne peut pas boire la soupe du developpement et du progres que nous rêvons tous pour notre terre natale La Croix-Des-Bouquets . Le monde à l’ère de l’internet est un site global et aussi de grands réseaux. Sans un grand reseau avec des personnes intelligentes et puissantes il serait difficile d’avoir du succès dans ce monde de globalisation. Personne, avec de grands rêves, ne peut réussir toute seule. On doit accepter de travailler en équipe si on veut apporter notre contribution Dans ce monde ou `a notre terre natale La Croix-des-Bouquets. Un fils de la Croix-des-Bouquets est un fils de la Croix-des-Bouquets. Comment peut on accepter nos differences et nos divergences comme etant une source de richesse pour travailler ensemble afin d’arriver à un monde  meilleur , humain et plus fraternel et non pas comme un danger? Permettez -moi d’utiliser la citation très Populaire de L’homme D’affaire et Industriel Henry Ford (1863-1947) pour illustrer l’importance de travailler ensemble:’’ Se réunir est un début; rester ensemble est un progrès ; travailler ensemble est la réussite.’’ Nous devons continuer à lutter pour être des artisans de paix , de solidarité et non pas des artisans de violence et de division qui continue à ravager notre terre natale . Pour la renaissance de cette grande ville la Croix-des-Bouquets notre terre natale , nous devons mettre ensemble tout ce qui nous unit tout en évitant de nous attarder sur tout ce qui nous divise comme fils et fille de la Croix-des-Bouquets.

Plusieurs décisions ont été prises à cette rencontre et nous commençons déjà à travailler sur le suivi. Un groupe WhatsApp est déjà créé et plusieurs infirmières qui n’étaient pas présentes étaient très contentes de voir que leur nom figure dans la liste de ce groupe WhatsApp et elles commencent à réagir sur cette page. Jusqu’à date, malgré certaines difficultés inhérentes à tout groupe ou de grands projets, les infirmières de la communauté crucienne qui s’engagent dans ce groupe inspirent beaucoup d’espoir. ‘’Tout ce qui se fait de bon dans le monde est fondé sur l’espoir.’’En écrivant ce texte, il m’est venu à l’esprit cette fameuse phrase ou cette citation de ce grand homme d’état du 21ème siècle, Nelson Mandela (1918-2013) : « Nous travaillons ensemble pour soutenir le courage là où il y a la peur, pour encourager la négociation là où il y a le conflit, et pour donner l’espoir là où règne le désespoir ».

J’ai eu la chance aussi de rencontrer cette grande étoile de la communauté crucienne, Madame Judith François Valentin, infirmière praticienne (Nurse- Practitioner) de formation pour un entretien à la Radio Télé Solidarité. Elle est arrivée aux États-Unis à l’âge de 6 ans. Elle y a fait donc ses études primaires, secondaires et universitaires aux États Unis . Mais elle reste toujours très attachée à sa ville natale, la Croix-des-Bouquets. Elle parle couramment le Créole, l’Anglais et comprend très bien le Français. Dans cet entretien elle nous a parlé de son rêve de jeunesse, devenir une avocate, et pourquoi elle a fini par choisir d’étudier les soins infirmiers. Elle a mis l’accent sur le jour de sa graduation en soins infirmiers qui est et qui sera toujours une journée inoubliable pour elle.

En outre, Madame Judith François Valentin nous a parlé de son itinéraire professionnel. Une grande partie de sa carrière d’infirmière s’est déroulée dans le domaine de la chirurgie cardiothoracique. Elle a saisi l’occasion pour nous parler des préventions contre la crise cardiaque. Soulignons qu’il y a une différence entre une crise cardiaque et un arrêt cardiaque. Une crise cardiaque survient lorsqu’il y a un blocage des artères coronaires. Elle est souvent causée par un caillot de sang. Le cœur continue à palpiter lors d’une crise cardiaque même si l’apport sanguine au cœur est interrompu. Tandis que pour l’arrêt cardiaque le cœur s’arrête de battre. Aux États-Unis plus de 800.000 personnes ont chaque année une crise cardiaque.

Présentement, Madame Judith François Valentin travaille à New York dans un hôpital où 99% des patients souffrent du cancer, cette maladie qui ravage notre monde. Madame Valentin doit donner des soins à ces patients après leur intervention chirurgicale à cet hôpital. Ainsi donc elle a un grand rôle à jouer dans le rétablissement de ces patients après leur intervention où leur operation . Elle est parmi les grandes fiertés de la Croix-des-Bouquets et est déterminée à apporter sa contribution à sa ville natale. Elle est très contente de voir son nom dans le groupe WhatsApp des infirmières originaires de la Croix-des-Bouquets.

Il est très important de nous organiser comme communauté et faire tout ce qui dépend de nous pour renforcer les liens de solidarité dans la communauté crucienne afin de changer le visage de cette ville que nous aimons tous. Pour bien construire ça prend beaucoup de temps et il y aura toujours des obstacles sur notre route. Mais il ne faut jamais se laisser décourager devant les difficultés. Il est plus facile de detruire que de construire Permettez-moi d’utiliser cette fameuse phrase de ce grand Homme État Anglais du 20ème siècle Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill (1874-1965) : « Construire peut être le fruit d’un travail long et acharné. Détruire peut être l’oeuvre d’une seule journée ». Je peux ajouter detruire pourrait être aussi l’oeuvre de quelques secondes et même nos pires ennemis peuvent nous aider à detruire. Je me rappelle aussi de cette phrase de l’Homme D’affaire Warren Buffett sur Construire :’’Il faut 20 ans pour construire une reputation et cinq minutes pour la ruiner . Si vous y réflechissez vous ferez les choses différemment.’’

Enfin nous pouvons dire que l’infirmière praticienne Madame Judith François Valentin est un grand cadeau de Dieu à la communauté noire des États-Unis et à la communauté crucienne. Elle a beaucoup d’expériences et est prête à les partager en ligne avec ses sœurs infirmières qui travaillent à la Croix-des-Bouquets. Madame Judith François Valentin, one of The Most Influential  Nurses  of the Crucian community.

In our work to motivate, raise awareness and strengthen the chain of solidarity in the Crucian community, at the Pitit Manman Wozè group we have already met several nurses from Croix-des-Bouquets, in the United States, Canada and Haiti and the Medical Director of the Health Center of Croix-des-Bouquets, Dr. Flaubert Aurélus. In this world of technology and communication, the problem of Croix-des-Bouquets must be approached globally in order to avoid, as much as possible, talking about political families and neighborhoods which divides us too much. Of course you know like me that the fork of division cannot drink the soup of development and progress we dream for our native land La Croix-Des-Bouquets. The world in the age of the internet is a global site or a global Village  and also of big networks. If you are not part of any network it will be very difficult to succeed today. In a word you must have strong, intelligent and powerful people with you or in your group. No one with big dreams can succeed alone. We must agree to work as a team if we want to make our contribution to this world or to our native land La Croix-des-Bouquets. A son of Croix-des-Bouquets is a son of Croix-des-Bouquets. How can we accept our differences and our divergences as being an asset to work together to change our world and not as a danger? Allow me to use the very popular quote of the Businessman and Industrialist Henry Ford (1863-1947): “Coming together is a beginning; staying together is progress; working together is success.”We must continue to strive to be artisans of peace and solidarity and not artisans of violence and division. For the rebirth of this great city of Croix-des-bouquets, our native land, we must put together everything that unites us while avoiding dwelling on everything that divides us as sons and daughters of Croix-des-Bouquets.

Several decisions were made at this meeting and we are already starting to work on the follow-up. A WhatsApp group has already been created and several nurses who were not present were very happy to see their name appear in the list of this WhatsApp group and they are starting to react on this page. To date, despite certain difficulties inherent in any group or large projects, the nurses of the Crucian community who are involved in this group inspire a lot of hope. ‘’Everything good in the world is based on hope.’’

In writing this piece , I came to mind this famous sentence of this great statesman of the 21st century, Nelson Mandela (1918-2013): “We work together to support courage where there is fear, to encourage negotiation where there is conflict, and to bring hope where there is despair”.

I also had the chance to meet this great Female star of the Crucian community, Mrs. Judith François Valentin, (Nurse-Practitioner) by training for an interview at Radio Télé Solidarité. She came to the United States when she was 6 years old. She did her primary, secondary and university studies in The United States . But she still remains very attached to her hometown, Croix-des-Bouquets. She is fluent in Creole, English and understands French very well. In this interview she told us about her childhood dream, to become a lawyer, and why she ended up choosing to study nursing. She emphasized her nursing graduation day which is and always will be an unforgettable day for her.

Mrs. Judith François Valentin told us also about her professional itinerary. Much of her nursing career has been spent in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. She took the opportunity to tell us about heart attack prevention. Note that there is a difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest. A heart attack occurs when there is a blockage in the coronary arteries. It is often caused by a blood clot. The heart continues to throb during a heart attack even though the blood supply to the heart is interrupted. While for cardiac arrest the heart stops beating. In the United States more than 800,000 people have a heart attack each year.

Currently, Mrs. Judith François Valentin works in New York in a hospital where 99% of patients suffer from cancer, this disease is ravaging our world. Mrs. Valentin must care for these patients after their surgery at this hospital. So she has a big role to play in the recovery of these patients after their intervention. She is one of the great prides of Croix-des-Bouquets and is determined to contribute to her hometown. She is very happy to see her name in the WhatsApp group of nurses from Croix-des-Bouquets.

It is very important to organize ourselves as a community and do everything that depends on us to strengthen the bonds of solidarity in the Crucian community to change the face of this city that we all love. To build well it takes a lot of time and there will always be obstacles in our way. But you should never be discouraged in times of difficulty . Allow me to use this famous phrase of that great 20th century English statesman Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill (1874-1965): “Building may be the work of long and hard work. Destroying may be the work of a single day”. ” I can add destroy is sometimes the work of a few seconds. Even our worst enemies can mindlessly help us destroy. If you think about it you will do things differently.””.

Finally we can say that nurse practitioner Mrs Judith François Valentin is a great gift from God to the black community in the United States and to the Crucian community. She has a lot of  experiences and is ready to share them online with her nurse sisters who work at Croix-des-Bouquets.
