Margalie Alexis (Maggie) , l’une des Infimières Etoiles de la Communauté Crucienne.
J’ai la chance d’avoir un entretien avec Margalie Alexis, l’une des infirmières étoiles de la Communauté Crucienne pour les auditeurs et les Telespectateurs de la Radio Telé Solidarité. Margalie est une grande croyante de foi Catholique et l’une des femmes professionnelles de la grande Communauté Crucienne de la diaspora.
Margalie Alexis est la 4ème enfant d’une famille de 5 enfants . Elle a fait ses études primaires chez les soeurs de l’Ecole Notre Dame Du Rosaire de la Croix-Des-Bouquets et ses études secondaires au Collège Coeur Immaculée de Marie CIM dirigé par les Soeurs de la Congrégation des Filles de Marie. Tout de suite après ses études secondaires elle a laissé Haiti pour venir vivre aux États Unis . bien sur comme pour tous les immigrants les premières années n’ont pas toujours été facile pour Margalie. Après son marriage , elle a compris l’importance de retourner bien vite aux études car elle sait dès son tendre enfance que l’éducation ouvre les portes. Donc elle a retourné sur les bancs de l’ecole et elle a décroché son diplome ou son baccalaureat en soins infirmiers. Elle a déja 23 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans la profession infirmière.
Dans son entretien sur Zoom à la radio Telé Solidarité elle a mis l’accent sur sa mère Mme Luceda Cantave Alexis qui a beaucoup aidé ses enfants à avoir une bonne education. Elle continua pour nous dire que cette dernière est une heroine, une très bonne mère mais très stricte car elle a bien compris cet adage:’’ Qui aime bien chatie bien , très responsable et qui a un grand amour pour tous ses enfants . Elle nous a parlé aussi de sa grande Soeur Suze qui est une grande inspiration et son modèle . Sa Soeur Suze, cette grande passionnée de l’education l’a beacoup motivé à retourner aux études pour décrocher son baccalaureat en sciences infirmières. Elle est très contente et très fière de faire des études en soins infirmiers. Je dois ajouter aussi que Suze est infirmière, elle est parmi les étoiles de la Communauté Crucienne et elle est connue pour une femme de forte personnalité , très proche des membres de sa famille et qui a un grand amour pour sa ville natale La Croix-Des-Bouquets.
Au cours de son entretien elle nous a parlé aussi de ses experiences professionnelles comme infirmière , elle est très proche de ses patientes et patients. Dans sa grande proximité avec ses patients (es) elle a decouvert l’importance d’avoir une bonne santé et qu’il n’est pas de plus grand bonheur que d’être en parfaite santé. Ses experiences comme infirmière l’ont beaucoup aidé à developer une bonne relation avec Dieu et ses frères et Soeurs comme Chretienne de foi Catholique
Margalie (Maggy) est connue pour une très bonne personne , très calme et respectueuse, douée de grandes relations humaines et qui aime beaucoup sa famille. Elle considère les enfants de sa soeur , ses frères et ses filleuls comme ses enfants . Je dois ajouter aussi qu’elle est très genereuse et une femme très respectée et aimée au sein de la Communauté Crucienne.
Enfin Margalie nous fit savoir qu’elle va faire tout ce qui est en son pouvoir pour encourager d’autres amies infirmières à se joindre au groupe des infirmières de la Croix-Des-Bouquets. Elle a beaucoup insisté que c’est une très bonne chose que les infirmières originaires de la Croix-des-Bouquets commencent à se regrouper pour aider leur ville natale au niveau de la santé. I have the chance to have an interview with Margalie Alexis, one of the star nurses of the Crucian Community for the listeners and viewers of Radio Telé Solidarité. Margalie is a great believer in the Catholic faith and one of the professional women of the great Crucian Community of the diaspora.
Margalie Alexis is the 4th child in a family of 5 children. She did her primary studies with the sisters of the Notre Dame Du Rosaire School in Croix-Des-Bouquets and her secondary studies at the Collège Coeur Immaculée de Marie CIM run by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary. Immediately after high school, she left Haiti to come and live in the United States. of course, as for all immigrants, the first years were not always easy for Margalie. After her marriage, she understood the importance of returning to school as soon as possible because she knew from a very early age that education opens all the doors. So she went back to school and she got her diploma or her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She already has 23 years of professional experience in the nursing profession.
In her Zoom interview on Telé Solidarité radio, she focused on her mother, Mrs. Luceda Cantave Alexis, who helped her children a lot to have a good education. She told us that the latter is a heroine, a very good mother but very strict because she understood this adage well: “Who loves well chatises as well’’, very responsible and who has a great love for all her children. She also told us about her lovely sister Suze who is a great inspiration and her model. Her sister Suze has a great passion for education, greatly motivated her to return to school to obtain her baccalaureate in nursing sciences. She was very happy and very proud to study nursing. I Have also add that Suze is a nurse, she is among the stars of the Crucian Community and she is known for a woman of strong personality, very close to her family and who has a great love for her hometown La Croix-Des -Bouquets.
During her interview she also told us about her professional experiences as a nurse, she is very close to her patients. In her close relationship with her patients, she discovered the importance of having good health and she understood very well that there is no greater happiness than being in perfect health. Her experiences as a nurse helped her a lot to develop a good relationship with God and her brothers and sisters as a Christian of Catholic faith.
Margalie (Maggy) is known for a very good person, very calm and respectful, gifted with great human relations and who loves her family very much. She considers her sister’s children, her brothers and her godchildren as her children. I must also add that she is very generous and a very respected and loved woman within the Crucian Community.
Finally Margalie let us know that she will do everything in her power to encourage other nurse friends to join the group of nurses from Croix-Des-Bouquets. She insisted a lot that it is a very good thing that the nurses from Croix-des-Bouquets are starting to come together to help their hometown in terms of health.
